After months of philosophical thought, I have arrived at the conclusion that is we leave the world the way it is now, it will continue indefintely without aim or purpose. Why the majority around us seem so content in accepting the world the way it is now seems mysterious to me. So many people have so many ideas about how the world would be better, but somehow none of these ideas seek to change the fundamental aimlessness of the world. It is as if aimlessness is regarded as the unchangeable law of nature. It is as if we're all supposed to say, "too bad this is such an absurd place to live in, but oh well, there's nothing we can do about it."

The world is a complex system with many mechansims that make sure it stays the way it is, making you conform to it. I think everyone is being indoctrinated today by the media (books, TV,...), our family and friends, schools, ... everywhere information is spread. I think indoctrination, make-believe, and argument by repetition or the majority are inferior methods of creating agreement. The superior way is for each of us to arrive at the same ideas independently.

Maybe I haven't expressed myself clearly enough and maybe I haven't said enough to be clear. In any case, I was only trying to say enough to give you an idea of what I'm interested in discussing. All I really know is that there's someting wrong with this world, and that I need someone to discuss it with. I've spent too much time thinking about this alone.
